I have a senior dog with severe hip dysplasia and arthritis and have gotten to see first hand how much chiropractic has benefitted her, which made it an easy decision to become an animal chiropractor! She’s a perfect example of the statement that “your dog is not their x-rays,” and every vet that examines her is surprised that she’s not on multiple medications and that her gait is relatively normal. Through animal chiropractic, there’s a massive gap in holistic animal health, especially when it comes to mobility and musculoskeletal complaints. Veterinarians are insanely busy and are upfront that they don’t have many options outside of medication to help animals with chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Chiropractic has been able to fill that gap in my community and give animal patients the team approach to health that their owners are craving! My biggest win with animal chiropractic is I’ve had a few dogs that have come in paralyzed that we’ve been able to get to walk again! We’ve also been able to have 27 euthanasia dates cancelled so far since we’ve been open (2022)! My favorite animals to adjust are senior dogs and cats! Every single animal can benefit from animal chiropractic! Whether you have a brand new puppy that you want to keep healthy or a super senior on their last months of life, regular chiropractic adjustments will increase their quality of life :).
